I am finding my pc starting to be slow, although I've upgraded my memory RAM to 32 GB

I don't know what cpu you have in your Aspire TC-886 now, but the highest spec compatible cpu for the TC-886 desktop is the i9-9900, but you need to have the bios version R02-A3 installed so that your mainboard is compatible with this cpu. As togther with the 32GB ram your desktop should have much better performance with this cpu upgrade. Also consider upgrading the oem GTX1650 gpu to an RTX3050 card as that will also improve performance, Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Are you running on a HDD instead of SSD? That could be the main reason for slow performance, not memory.
