I have recently bought a new Acer Predator neo 16 laptop and i want to add a ssd in it, but there is a sticker on back side of it saying warranty void if seal is broken. So do i need to go to Acer service Centre to install the new install the new ssd. If yes how do i find the nearest service service Centre. I tried whatsapp chat for customer support they sent a Mobile number. I have be trying to call on that number for 5 days but they are not picking. I even ask them to give another centre Contact number but they stop responding. What to do now. what kind of service is this.

If you are looking for upgrade than yes, you can do it yourself. Just by removing the sticker will not void the laptop warranty but make sure no parts gets damaged inside the laptop

I removed the sticker (made a hole in it) and added RAM to my laptop on my own, but now I'm worried that this might void my warranty. I went to the service center to ask about it, and they said, "As you can see and read on the sticker, it can void the warranty." but they also mentioned that if I want to upgrade the SSD, they can do it and replace the old sticker.

I'm not sure if this is true or if they're just trying to upsell parts. To be safe, I'm planning to go back to the service center next week and have them upgrade the SSD using the one I bought outside the SC.
