Hi,
I have a C24-1651 all in one computer with built in speakers. My computer did an automatic update over night and now there is now sound and the speakers have "no device connected."

I have tried to run a troubleshoot and they it can not find the speakers, I have also tried looking in the device manager and it appears as if the sound section of it has been deleted.

Is there a way to get the speaker working again?

Thank you in advance.

You need to reinstall the Realtek Audio Driver the Iris® Xe Graphics as that is all part of the audio drivers of your PC. if your C24-1651 has both the Iris® Xe Graphics and the dedicated NVidia GeForce® MX330 graphics, then you need to freshly install the clean install the Realtek driver and then both graphics drivers also, as the Realtek, Intel and NVidia drivers all affect the audio output of your AIO PC and if one of these drivers is corrupted the audio will not work. But this should be all updated by Windows Update and if your audio got corrupted by the update, you need to clean install of these again for the "Sound, video and game controllers" to appear in Device manager.

The reason you don't have the "Sound, video and game controllers" section in your Device manager is because your C24-1651 AIO doesn't have any audio drivers and windows update must have corrupted them.

If you turn on the show hidden devices option in Device Manager, the speakers will show back up, but grayed out. Try the Realtek driver reinstall suggested.
