Your AN515-52 has a HDMI Port Compliance level HDMI 2.0. HDMI 2.0 supports 144Hz refresh rates at 1080p resolution. It can also handle 1440p at 144Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.

So in summary, 144Hz is very much possible with HDMI 2.0 at 1080p and 1440p, but 4K 144Hz requires HDMI 2.1. Ensure your monitor supports the desired resolution and refresh rate over HDMI, and use a high-quality HDMI cable.

    Recommendation-

    1. You need look for a monitor with hdmi 2.0 version and feature you needed like 144hz, etc.
    2. Look for best hdmi 2.0 monitor on youtube with reviews. Ensure monitor has best picture quality, ips display, Gsync/freesync if you want to do gaming, etc.
    3. If buying 1080p then get 24inch max. If you get 1080p Monitor with more than 24inch then it won't look good. 24inch And below 24 is good for 1080p.
    4. Don't just get monitor by looking at their specs. You need to check reviews too. To get best monitor as some monitor are trash.
