Seeking SSD slot count and types supported on AcerSwiftGo14 sfg14-71

Can someone confirm the no of ssd slots on acer swift go 14 sfg14-71 i5 13500h and ssd type it supports. Acer's Lifecycle Ext. Guide says it has 2 but does not mention the size or type of ssd like 2280 gen 4 etc

The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) has two M.2 SSD slots:

SSD1 Slot: This is the primary slot, which supports PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSDs. It is typically located near the CPU and is used for the main operating system drive. (Main OS drive)

SSD2 Slot: This secondary slot supports PCIe Gen 4 by 4 or 4 by 2 NVMe SSDs and is often found under a black tape or foil near the battery area.

To access both slots, you need to remove the bottom panel of the laptop. Be cautious when handling internal components to avoid damage.

There are indeed two M.2 PCIe x4 slots, which support Gen 4 SSDs – one is positioned to the right of the battery, and the second M.2 slot is concealed under the ribbon cable near the fans (see red squares picture). A suitable SSD would be the NVMe Gen4 Samsung 990Evo 2TB or more (no limit) for the 2 PCIe slots.

I am also thinking of upgrading SSD up to 1Tb (in an extra SSD Slot) in my modal sfg14-71.

You shouldn't have any trouble with the size of any SSD you can afford. There is no inherent limit within current technology.
