Hi,

I recently bought a Nitro V15 and I noticed that the design of ventilation blower is directly hitting the screen monitor. Did you anticipate that the design of ventilation of Nitro V15 that the hot air is directly hitting the monitor? It is ok? Is there a way to solve this?

I have a Swift X SFX14-51G-7003 that blows hot air on the screen that way, no issues.

  • The design of the Acer Nitro V15 (ANV15-51-53DG) where the ventilation blower directly hits the screen monitor is not ideal. However, it is unlikely to cause significant damage to the screen in most cases. My MacBook has been throwing hot air on the screen for 15 years and the screen is still good. No worries on that one!

Laptops like the Asus Zephyrus G14 and older MacBooks have had similar designs for years without widespread screen damage issues. Tons of laptops do this; when laptops are thin, venting out near the hinge is really the only spot. It hasn’t caused widespread failure in any of the models it’s been used in AFAIK so it’s not worth worrying about.

The screen typically has an operating temperature range above 50°C, and the electronics are on the back side of the glass with a lot of surface area.

While the placement of the exhaust may not be optimal, it would take continuous exposure to very high temperatures to potentially damage the screen. Most users have not reported problems.

If the heat bothers you, you could try using a laptop stand to increase airflow or consider a cooling pad. But in general, this design flaw is more of an annoyance than a serious concern for most users.

Don't worry companies did alot of testing before releasing these designs.
