Hi,

My PC turned off during gaming, but the fans still worked at their highest speed. This has happened several times. I changed my fans to Noctua to solve the heating problem, but this specific problem is still occurring. Do you know why this happens?

    well, how old is it?

when is the last time it was updated?

    is it making any noises?

@chugzilla I bought it 4 months ago. Just a little information about the PC:

    •	NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB
    •	Intel® Core™ i7-13700F
    •	32 GB DDR5 RAM
    •	1 TB M.2 SSD
    •	Intel® H770 chipset

And yes, it makes noises like when a fly wants to take off.

ok so is the Noctua cooler the only change you have made?

and did this issue start after installing that cooler?

    @chugzilla

I installed a Noctua cooler and a Noctua fan at the top of the case. I replaced the original RAM with new Kingston RAM. However, I had the same problem two weeks after I bought it, even after replacing the cooler.

well you should have returned it then it could be anything. now you will have to send it in for warranty or figure it out.

i have never had that issue before on mine.

could be the CPU with all the issues intel is having.

I'm having the same exact issue I'm not sure what is happening to mine either I have a PO5-650 model with a 4090ti, I bought mine a couple months ago and Installed the Black Noctua Cooler, but the same thing has been happening constantly and pretty frequently these past two weeks did you ever get yours fixed? I need help with mine as well.

How hot are the CPU and GPU getting? I would download a tool to check this.

@PocariParadise I don’t think the temp should be a problem. Mine shouted down when the temp was max 70c.

I gotcha, I might just use the warranty on it then I have not a clue what could be making it do that thx for the guidance!

Did you ever resolve this issue? I've had the same problem for over a year. I've spent hours on the phone with tech support and have mailed the entire unit in for repair twice. It still shuts off randomly, and they want me to mail it in again!

@DesktopUser345 I haven't found a resolution for it but there is a possible solution, I took it in for diagnostics and they could not replicate the issue, if you have the exact same model as me, I was told it could be a processor issue (I have a 13th GEN Intel® Core™ i7-13700F) and you may need to get it upgraded to one of the 14000 series as the 13000 series has had some issues.

It will run you up about 200 dollars just for the processor and idk if you can install it yourself but it may cost extra to get it put in by a professional. I was also told that Intel can cover it for you if the processor is defective.

It's not very cost efficient, the route I have decided to go (Buying another PC) but at this point I'm fed up with it as it is still happening to this day. I hope you can get if figured out though and I hope this helps you out!
