ES1-511 PCI Encryption/Decryption Device problem (Code 28)

So, I have an issue that I am unable to find sufficiant or relevant information/help with this subject other then leading my down a rabbit hole of sites to download garbage that does not work so I am trying to understand why there is a problem and what the offline solution it first before reverting to downloading some more garbage that does not work online.

For starters my serial number brings up no information from ACER SUPPORT for drivers or documents what so ever. Not sure what is up with that. And the support for ES1-511 as a model number is 2 drivers and 2 bios updates that are useless to begin with. (If anyone has problems with their mouse pad after any of thise updates just go to the BIOS settings and try changed the touchpad settings from ADVANCED TO BASIC or vise/versa, seems like this happens to all acers aftwr update and losing their mous capabilities...)

Now the issue I am facing. This laptop originaly operated on Windows 7 I beleive but it was handed to me with an issue freezing after being upgraded to windows 10 Home edition. (I dohave a hunch that the Intel thermal and fan control is completely wrong and the processor is trying to melt because it will not turn the fans on until the laptop freezes and locks up, that is a whole nother issue i have yet to look into still.) The PCI Encryption/Decryption device has an error 28 and I can not find the factory windows pre-installed driver in any of the folders manually that match the name of this device. I am trying to find an offline solution/driver or the reason for this device.

I also have tried the windows update multiple times which just installs an Intel TXE driver/device with an Error as will. Error number not noted (maybe code 10?) other then I remember the description saying something about no power to the device (assuming i donnot even have hardware for what ever driver it installed considering i do not meet requirements fir window 11 upgrade). Windows 10 update has an "optional" driver update for Intel chipset, which I beleive it is only Installing maybe a 64th of the driver. The bar in windows 10 update for this driver update hardly even moves, maybe 64th or half mm on the screen and all the sudden says that it is installed (I have never seen anything download and install that fast in my life let alone on this laptop) with the error in device manager for Intel TXE device.

Everyone in window support says to go to Intel and download their TXE file. Which will not even try to install, that is a waste of time space and I am pretty sure a corrupt driver or malware file anyways. (I am noticing the "Product Support" automatic device and driver detectors for all brands including dell and intel are hurting PC's more then they fix them).

There is a couple posts on ACER forum that state to downoad a PCI encryption/decryption driver from another ES1-5XX model, when i go to those links the information does not exist. So I am unsure if I have a problem with my internet/data provider and servers as all the information I need seems to be none existant.

I have seen some videos that people try to claim which offline driver is for this device which in turn, makes the PCI encryption/decryiption device turn into a whole different device in the manger just like what the windows update tries to do with Intel chipset driver update, BUT! When these people install the other driver they claim to have no errors and it does not match the device name... I have not done this because it seems like an important driver before connecting to the internet.

I uninstalled all the drivers and updates (removed what ever ones I could) and restarted the laptop top and let windows do it's thing offline with the windows updates paused and was left with just two errors in the deivce manager.

This left me with PCI Encryption/Decryption device error and SM Bus Controller error. So i was able to find the SM Bus controller Driver manually in the hardware driver folders and install it with the message stating that if installed may cause issues because windows would not automatically find this driver for some reason? Installed the driver that matched the Hardware name with no issues (SM Bus controller).

WHERE IS THE FACTORY DRIVER LOCATION FOR THE "PCI ENCRYPTION/DECRYPTION DECIVE"??? Does anyone have any valuble information or the actual information for this and this device's purporse or an ES1-511 that they have resolved this issue propperly.

The only 3 noticable physical differences in this laptop I can note is a replacement screen after someone else smashed it, and that I upgraded (to try and speed it up and stop from freezing eveery 20 minutes) the small HDD to a 1TB crucial SSD as per their instructions on their website, I also upgraded the ram in it (I do not remember the brand) to an 8GBram stick. This really helped it wake up, run with less loads and higher speeds and nver had it freeze for the entire 2 years ive been woring with it up until recently it froze twice again (I think do to thefans not kicking in and the CPU trying to overheat)..

Another side note! which I did not learn about the uninstaller program I used to get rid of most garbage I do not need on here is that I previously had "DriverEasy5.x.x" version (it was below there version 6 they have out now) because I came across this and it says it picks up all kinds of more recent updated drivers (and that it did) but, I installed the free version and followed the manual installation instructions as per of these guys that posted great reviews for the tool. Now the biggest issue I did not do was create the system restore point before I put all that junk on this laptop which in turn might have corrupted my windows install, I am unsure.

Is there anyone that can point me into the right direction without having to download more garbage online and acer refuses to connect me with a support specialist that likely has the answer for no less then $80 because this laptop is from 2014 and no warrenty.

Also another note: when I punch in the Device SNID number it brings up a completely different Acer computer then what I have/working with. (Extensa 215-23 windows 11 model) No idea why!? And when I search the serial number in the ACER data base it does not exist?

Please point me in the WRIGHT direction. No one actually seems to have the answers/solutions to this questions no matter where I look. If you made it this far, I would really appreciate your help and honesty as well as to be able to give a reliable answer to the Acer community please and thank you.

This is a 10-year-old Windows8.1 laptop no longer supported by either Acer or Microsoft, if you upgraded to W10 in 2015 your version may no longer be updated by Microsoft. Clean installing W10 with an ISO file will no longer be activated after January 2023. Consider migrating to a new Window11 laptop or switch OS to Linux.

why did someone say windows 10 was going to be supported into 2025 because so many business's do not want to make the switch to window's 11. And windows 12 is out already. Also can someone tell me what the PCI Encryption/Decryption device is. And where the driver is for it? Or what it's purpose is. What happens when I just install the PCI device controller in? Doesn't state it has anything to do with encryption or decryption. Some people say install the bluetooth drivers and others say to install the intel drivers. Whats the PCI for to begin with and what does it even look like for a peice of hardware?
