With Acer's 500W supply, the RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 will work just fine. Acer ships many models with those GPUs and a 500W supply.

No, you can't use a NVidia RTX4060 gpu in the TC-895 desktops mainboard as you need the following components which the TC-895 PSU does not have, and it will not power the RTX4060 gpu to work with the desktop.

    System Power Supply:

    • System Power Supply: 550W power rating minimum.
    • Supported power connector configurations: At least one PCIe 8-pin cable (with RTX 4060 PCIe Gen 5 Power Connector Adapter).
    • One 150 W or greater PCIe Gen 5 Cable (16-pin).

The Aspire TC-895 desktop has a mainboard that is powered by an ATX_12V-Auxiliary 8-pin power connector and an ATX_POWER-6-pin ATX power connector and its an Acer proprietary mainboard that uses a proprietary Acer PSU that is specifically made for this desktop, they are either a 180W, 300W or the 500W. Acer fits oem gpu's of the type below, so use the GTX1650 gpu with the oem TC-895 desktop 500W PSU as that will give you the best performance for what the TC-895 has.

If you want a specifically designed desktop for gaming with the newer RTX4060 or up to the RTX4090 gpu specs, then look at the Acer Nitro or the higher spec and cost Predator range of gaming desktops that are specifically designed for gaming and are a much better alternative than upgrading an Aspire desktop. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

If you upgrade to the RTX4060, note that NVidia recommends a needed minimum and at least a 550W PSU as this gpui draws an allocated constant power of 115W then you need to make sure that there is enough power for the rest of the components of the desktop like the mainboard, cpu, gpu, ssd's drives and SATA drives and ram, as you have to calculate the total power draw of all these components that your desktop needs otherwise your desktop will crash from a lack of pSU power.

Just as a note the higher spec NVidia RTX4070 gpu needs a min and at least a 650W PSU suggested by NVidia which draws a constant allocated graphics power of 200W which might not be allot but if your desktop is fully loaded the 500W PSU will not be adequate and best performance is crucial when you use a higfher Wattage PSU. ...so if you use the Acer oem 500W PSU do so at your own risk, as NVidia does not recommend a 500W PSU to be used with their gpu's as they recommend a min 550W or a min 650W PSU.

If you do upgrade to the NVidia RTX4050 and use the Acer oem 500W PSU make sure that your TC-885 desktop has the exact specs as those Acer desktops that are fitted with either the RTX4060 gpu or the RTX4070 gpu and you don't overpower the desktop with other components so that the 500W Acer PSU will not be able to fully power your desktop when doing high end tasks like editing and especially gaming as 500W is a very low PSU power for a full on gaming desktop. Good luck.

Yes, you should be able to use an RTX 4060 graphics card in your Acer Aspire TC-895 desktop by upgrading the power supply, but there are a few important considerations:

    • The TC-895 originally came with a 180W or 300W power supply, which is not enough for an RTX 4060. You will need to upgrade to at least a 500W power supply.
    • The power supply in the TC-895 uses a proprietary connector that may not be compatible with standard ATX power supplies. You will need to find a replacement power supply that is the correct size and has the right connector for your specific TC-895 model.
    • Make sure the RTX 4060 GPU will physically fit inside the TC-895 case. The TC-895 uses a compact mini-ITX case, so a large GPU may not fit.
    • You may need to remove the DVD drive to make room for the GPU.

So in summary, upgrading the power supply and installing an RTX 4060 is possible, but you need to ensure you get the right replacement power supply and that the GPU will physically fit. It's also a good idea to check that your CPU and other components won't bottleneck the 4060. But with the right power supply, the TC-895 should be able to handle an RTX 4060 upgrade.

The below PSU list are all the PSUs fitted oem to the different spec version of the Aspire TC-885 desktop, which is listed by Acer for this desktop, they are either the 220W, 300W or the 500W PSUs, see list below. Good luck and fitting an RTX4050 to a 500W PSU is taking a risk and compromising the full gaming performance or that new gpu like NVidia who designed/tested the gpu is suggesting, I wouldn't use a 500W PSU for the RTX4050 gpu as you will never ever be able to get full performasnce out of your gpu and desktop in full high end gaming requirements, its up to you hope things work out for you.

As I said before, Acer ships a lot of models with a 500W supply and either the 4060 or 4070. They have done extensive testing and haven't seen issues with that combination. NVIDIA is being too cautious with their requirements, since they can't make assumptions about all the rest of the peripherals included in a customer's system.Acer know just what is installed and where the maxes really are. So, if you have the 500W supply already you are good to go with either GPU, if you have one of the smaller supplies you will need to upgrade to the 500W supply before you can do the GPU upgrade.
