Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G AMD Ryzen 5 5500U (Can't start your camera)

• "Camera" app is not working on my laptop (Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G AMD Ryzen 5 5500U) having windows 11 installed.

• when I open camera app, error pops up: -

Can't start your camera

If you're sure the camera is connected and installed properly,

try checking for updated drivers.

If you need it, here's the error code:

0xA00F429F<WindowShowFailed> (0x887A0004)

• I kindly request "Acer" to release all necessary driver updates as soon as possible in order to resolve the camera issue with Windows 11 on the Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G.

• I kindly "Acer" request community members to assist me with this issue until then.

If you upgraded from Windows10 it is possible that the integrated webcam was not detected by W11, this is a bug and has been fixed, check that W11 is up to date with version W11 23H2 22631.3958. There is no driver for the integrated webcam, maintained by Microsoft. If the issue persists run Reset this PC without losing your files.
