i used a 3rd party program to update my drivers. I have been crashing a lot in my games that i play. At first i thought i may just need to upgrade my cpu. Which i still will do, but i noticed my chipset driver is 2022. The acer website has a 2017 chipset driver. Should i just only use the acer website drivers even if they say 2017?

Microsoft and this forum have been cautioning using 3rd-party bloatware like IObit, Driver Booster and the like even Intel's DSA can brick your PC, stick with the Windows11 23H2 updater, enable the optional update option and keep Windows up to date, we now are on version 22631.3958. You will receive firmware/driver updates from Microsoft before these appear on the Acer Support site. Uninstall all pre-installed bloatware, 3rd-party programs, browsers and AV programs, check your background apps in Task Manager-Processes-Background those should not exceed 65 even if using low resources, these redundant apps run constantly, monitoring your activity and backing up to Cloud.

I find that a combination of Windows Update and Intel Driver and Support Assistant seem to work best, as suggested stay clear of other third party sites unless your system is too old for Acer, Intel and Microsoft support.
