Hello,

I was gifted a Predator X34 GSbmiipphuzx 1900R monitor.

I would love to check how many hours the monitor has been on (power on hours). I can check this info on other monitors by checking the service menu, but I can't figure out how to find that information on this monitor.

Can anyone help?

It may be in service menu There are no major risks associated with accessing the service menu on the Acer Predator X34 GSbmiipphuzx monitor, as long as you don't change any settings you don't understand. The service menu may allows you to check information like power-on hours. To access the service menu:

    1. Turn off the monitor
    2. Press and hold the leftmost button on the monitor's menu panel
    3. Turn the monitor back on while still holding the button
    4. After it powers on, release the button and navigate to the service menu, which should appear as "F" above the first menu setting

Be cautious when changing any settings in the service menu, as improper changes could potentially cause issues with the monitor's performance or even damage it. If you're unsure about a setting, it's best to leave it alone.

Thank you for the quick response.

This monitor doesn't have "left buttons" so to say. They are all on the right side placed vertically as it shows in the shared image.

Having said that, I tried the combination that you suggested using the power button with every other button, and that didn't bring the service menu up.

Would appreciate if anyone can help with this.

    Thanks.

Yeah, Acer doesn't seem to adhere to any standards with user controls. So what works for one model lines doesn't for another. In the case of the X34GS models it doesn't look like they've included that in the OSD menu. The procedure to get into to view the firmware level looks like it might have it though:

Make sure you don't actually edit anything on that menu though, assuming anything is editable, those are all factory set parameters and you can screw things up…
