I have a Predator Helios Neo 16 PHN71 running Win11.

The battery icon has an exclamation mark on it and when you hover over the icon a message pops up that says "Weak charging state, please check power charger."

This is due to having a USB-C dock connected (that is capable of supplying power to the laptop) as well as having the laptops power brick plugged in. If I unplug the USB-C dock and only have the laptop power brick connected, the exclamation mark disappears from the battery icon and the message about the weak charging state is no longer displayed.

The laptop stays at 100% with both the power brick and USB-C dock plugged in.

Is there any way to select which source of power supply the laptop chooses to use or is it possible to disable the USB-C dock power delivery and only use the power brick?

Will having both plugged in cause any problems / issues to the laptop or the battery?

Your docking station is not powerful enough to charge the battery, keep the power adapter plugged-in 24/7 and the battery charged 100% (recommended) without any issues, the barrel plug power adapter that came with your laptop will have always preference over USB-C charging in BIOS and Windows11, no problems to have both connected for your battery or laptop. 😉

Did you tried both USBs - C ? maybe the other one won't charge through it . I`m not familiar with your laptop but if there is any option to disable it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to find it(Windows / BIOS) . The exclamation mark is pretty annoying😂 .
