The Aspire A315-43 is a Win-11 drivers only laptop from Acer, why do you want to install Win-10 Pro when you can use the key from the Win-10 Pro to have a workable Win-11 pro OS on this laptop. Win-10 Microsoft support fully ends on October 14, 2025, so be aware of this as Win-11 is a much better OS to install.

Here is how you can use your existing Windows 10 Pro product key, but you need to first install the oem A315-43 Win-11 Home. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Disconnect your PC from the internet.
    2. Press Windows key + I, then go to System > Activation.
    3. In the right pane, click “Change” next to the “Change product key” option.
    4. Use the generic key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
    5. Once upgraded, reconnect your internet and use your valid Windows 10/11 Pro product key to activate the system1.

Remember that when you upgrade from an activated Windows 10 installation to Windows 11, the new installation will automatically activate, so you won’t need to enter the product key again2. Enjoy your Windows 11 Pro experience! 😊🚀Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Hi Cevapi19861,

Welp, since you need internet to download the appropriate drivers for your case, you need an old friend USB to take the downloaded drivers from https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Aspire_A315-43 on another computer to your laptop and install from there.

To answer your questions more specifically, you can try installing the windows 11 drivers even you're on windows 10, as the vendors that published the drivers does not necessarily make them OS specific unless otherwise specified. You would encounter error messages before getting that installed even if that's the case and you would know before installation.

Windows 11 is more a look-and-feel update + TPM requirement, the codebase and system APIs are all similar to Windows 10, and drivers depend on those instead.

Once that's installed, you should have restored internet access and relevant functions. Use your mobile phone to download them and transfer over if you do not have another computer.

    Cheers!

    Hi Cevapi19861,

Share the screenshot where you encounter error messages of missing inf files and we can tell more from that.

Meanwhile, if your computer does not have any wireless connectivity (including Bluetooth), then the airplane mode is dimmed and cannot be changed, as there's nothing to change in terms of wireless.

    Cheers!

Guys thx for reply. I found the solution and it was right in front of me.

So lets be clear, this laptop is Win11 and it does not have Win10 compatibility. I made USB stick through Win 11 website and booted it in BIOS and installed Win 11.

I downloaded drivers through ACER website and put them on USB and on mobile phone because there is no internet connection so I used phone and USB Cable. Put the WLAN and Bluetooth drivers on desktop and made a "noob" mistake. I clicked double click on the drivers but they were in Zip format.

I could run setup but it said that infofiles.txt were missing. So on this phase right click and Extract on desktop. Voila it showed the folder and I made succesfull instalation after that WiFi and Bluetooth showed.

The laptop is working nicely and the signal of mobile hotspot is pretty good for a budget laptop.
