My Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-57) doesn't turn on

I have had this laptop since December 2022 and 2 months ago it had an overvoltage short circuit; they fixed my computer, but I have not yet replaced the battery and when I finished playing video games I turned it off and then the next day it does not turn. This happened to me 5 days ago and yesterday it turned on when I decided to connect it to the power, but after playing I turned it off and today it didn't turn on again. Will it be a problem due to having a damaged battery or something more complex?

A damaged battery doesn't help the laptop when it needs to boot or turn on, as it could intefeer with the booting process. What happened to your battery, as the AN515-57 laptop being only 1.75 years old very rarely damages its battery and doesn't need a new battery, as the battery shouldn't be damaged.

I suggest that you first do a Hard Reset of the laptop, take the back cover off, disconnect the main battery and take the battery out, disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery that is underneath the main battery and then use a metal object to short the batteries +&- pins to reset CMOS then take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) so that the EC and Chipset chips reset if they are frozen in any way, reconnect everything as this reset should fix your booting and On/Off problems.

If the Hard Reset doesn't fix your laptop, then you have a major main power rail problem that needs and experienced technician to analyze where the problem is, as your laptop probably a mosat or a capacitor that is shorted or burned out and needs changing.
