I'm using an Acer Aspire 5 A515-57G
When I play any game, initially, I get 60 FPS for the first minute. After that, it drops to 35-30 FPS, making it unplayable. I did some research and found it's due to power throttling. I tried disabling power throttling in the power management settings in gpedit, but the issue persisted. I'm using the laptop with the charger connected and in high-performance mode. I've updated the BIOS, drivers, and Windows, but the problem persists.
Then, I found a fix in Device Manager. Under "Software Components," there's something called "Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology Device Extension Support." When I disabled it and restarted the laptop, the problem disappeared. So, I think this component doesn't work properly as intended. Will keeping it disabled cause any issues in the future?
By the way, I can only play games when this option is disabled.
