Why can't I register my new laptop? It's an Acer Aspire Lite model AL15-41

I just bought a new Acer Aspire Lite model AL15-41 and when I try to register it for warranty here:- https://www.acer.com/us-en/support I get: "Sorry, we are unable to locate this serial number." Same message whether I enter the SN or the SNID from the sticker on the bottom of the laptop. I don't get it. I bought this laptop new on Amazon on 7-9-2024. Acer Phone Support says to contact seller on Amazon. I tried the Acer Product Registration app on the Microsoft Store. And that tells me "System is unavailable". What do I do if I ever have a problem with this laptop? What I am suspecting at this point is, that my laptop left the factory without the SN or SNID being entered into the Acer database. I would like someone from Acer to reach out to me and tell me what my options are. Thanks.

    Problem solved. The seller tells me that THEY provide the warranty, not Acer. Not sure how that is possible, maybe they have some sort of arrangement with Acer. Thanks! Case closed.
