Acer Spin 513 How to identify unresponsive app in Chromebook Task Manager

Hi,

I've had an Acer Spin 513 chromebook for two and a half years now, but just recently it has started freezing whilst I am in the Google Chrome browser. I've started doing some of the recommended diagnostic tests, one of which is to identify any unresponsive apps in Task Manager and end the process. However, unlike the Windows task manager, there appears to be no means of identifying unresponsive apps.

Short of identifying those apps with high memory/CPU usage, is there a surefire way of identifying those apps which are causing it to freeze?

Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance.
