Dear Acer Community,

I have an Acer Nitro AN515-51 laptop, and upon reviewing the product specifications, it states that the storage is "512 GB SSD, PCIe Gen4, 16 Gb/s, NVMe (Upgradable Upto 2*1 TB SSD)". This suggests support for a maximum of 1TB SSD storage per slot.

However, I inadvertently purchased a Samsung 990 PRO SSD NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4, which is a 2TB variant (model MZ-V9P2T0B/AM). This SSD boasts sequential read speeds of up to 7,450 MB/s and is intended for high-end computing, gaming, and heavy-duty workstations.

My concern is whether this 2TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD will be compatible with my Acer Nitro AN515-51 laptop. Given the specifications mention "Upgradable Up to 2*1 TB SSD", I seek clarification on whether a single 2TB SSD can indeed be used without any compatibility issues or limitations.

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
