The Aspire TC-885 desktop highest spec cpu is the i9-9900 cpu fitted to the Intel B360 chipset mainboard. The i9-9900 cpu has specs of a standard frequency of 3.1Ghz and up to a turbo frequency of 5GHz with a TDP of 65W and it also has the integrated UHD 630 graphics, and works on the last bios version R01-C3.

Due to the i9-9900KF higher standard frequency of 3.6GHz and a turbo frequency of 5GHz and it has a much higher TDP of 95W which will make it run hotter, so you will need a much better cpu cooling system and also you will need a dedicated gpu as the i9-9900KF has got no integrated graphics. which is not a problem as the TC-885 desktop mainboard has a 24pin ATX_POWER plug and its either 300W or 500W oem PSU can be upgrade to the latest modern modular 24pin type PSUs of your choice, so you will also be able to upgrade to the better Nvidia RTX 30 or 40 series or the AMD RX6xxx or even the 7xxxx gpu’s newest gpu's, but you need to make sure that all these gpu's fit into the internal spaces of the TC-885 desktop.

So and if you decide to upgrade to the i9-9900KF cpu, which imo is not what you should do, as you should upgrade to the known Acer working i9-9900 cpu, as I don’t know if the i9-9900KF cpu will work with the Intel B360 TC-885 mainboard and the Acer bios issues, you will have to take the risk and find out for yourself as Acer has no suggestions of the KF type cpu working, maybe there is a community member that can advise you further who has done this update? Good luck and hope thius helps you out.

The K model CPU will certainly require a cooling system revamp, for very, very little performance increase. Make sure you have done all the other tweaks before doing any type of CPU upgrade. SSD as the boot drive, full memory for your usage and GPU good enough to match your usage.
