PLB1 Component on Aspire AV15-53P Motherboard Failed - Replacement Part Number?

My Acer aspire laptop recently failed with a small amount of smoke coming from the case. On opening it up a couple of days later, I found that the fairly large component identified as PLB1 has overheated and desoldered itself from the Motherboard (see photo). The laptop seems to now function correctly but I am concerned as this seems to be I would assume either a voltage regulator or surge diode without it the laptop will fail at a later date.

Can anyone identify the part number of this component so I can source and fit a replacement?

The Aspire AV15-53P laptops circuitries are not identified by the mainboard parts ID like the PLB1 that is written on the mainboard and that has burned out on your laptop, if the burned out circuit is in the middle of that red circle and you have removed it, you need to look at the top of the actual chip ID number and letters that is written on the chip that you have removed to find out the exact chip that you need and search for that number on the web.

If this chip was burned and its ID is unrecognizable then you need to consult Acer in your country to find that chip ID out if you want to replace it, but to replace a chip like that you need microscopic soldering tools so be careful. Also, we don't have a schematic mainboard diagram for your Aspire AV15-53P laptop to know what that chip is, as this chip could be anything. Good luck and hope you find out what that chip is.

Thank you for this answer. Unfortunately the component surface has melted so I can't read the part number on it. I was wondering if someone with the same motherboard could read the identification on it?
