    Hi, you can add a 2nd DDR4-3200MHz RAM module for the empty slot. DDR4-3200MHz CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600 like this one: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra32a/ct21322179

Make sure that the CL and speed are the same as the DDR4 module installed, you can open the laptop first and check the module that is installed and check the speed or browse the internet with the part number of your present RAM module and buy that.

Your laptop support maximum 32GB dual-channel Ram using two sticks of 16GB Ram.

You need another matching 8GB RAM stick to achieve 16GB in dual channel mode. Here are the things you need to take care of:

I do not recommend using two RAM sticks of different sizes; it's a waste of money. For optimal RAM performance, ensure that:

    1. Both RAM sticks are of equal size.
    2. Both RAM sticks have equal voltage.
    3. Both RAM sticks have equal CL (CAS latency).
    4. Both RAM sticks have the same MHz (DDR4/DDR5).

Check all these specifications using CPU-Z. CPU-Z will provide you with your RAM model number, which you can use to search for your laptop's preinstalled RAM specifications.

This process shouldn't be too difficult since Crucial RAMs are generally compatible with Acer laptops and OEM RAMs. After checking your current RAM specs, search for Crucial RAM with the same specifications for your laptop on Crucial's website by entering your model number and compare them.

(Just in case you're not aware, your laptop has two variants: one supports DDR4 3200MHz with a 260-pin DDR4 SODIMM package, and the other supports DDR5 4800MHz with a 180-pin DDR5 SODIMM package. Therefore, if your laptop's preinstalled RAM is 4800MHz, make sure you choose a 180-pin SODIMM for your laptop.)
