Ive tried to delete the device under device manager so that windows can reinstall the drivers but that hasnt worked. Ive aslo tried to unistall and install the drivers from the official acer support site but with no avail. Ive also tried changing settings overall as well. Ive noticed thats its when I click on the middle of the touchpad.

Boot to BIOS and verify that the Touchpad mode is set to 12C HID and not PS/2, you may have the press Ctrl+S to unhide Touchpad in BIOS, save changes on exit and reboot to Windows. If the problem persists you may have a hardware issue like a bad eDP cable/contact.

Hello, I checked and yes its so to 12C. Also just to update my previous post:

"So basically as mentioned the touchpad may have software or hardware issues that make it very sensitive and starts randomly jumping, clicking and lagging specifically when I press in the middle of the touchpad or just use the middle part in general. I have tried to delete the touchpad drivers under device manager by unisntalling teh device and restarting windows so that it automatically reinstalls the drivers. I have tried to manually uninstall the drivers and download the latest ones from the official acer website. I believe this touchpad doesn't use windows drivers it uses ELANTECH and Snyaptics which I tried both. Ive also tried changing general settings realting to the touchpad I found online. Im not sure what the issue is at this point. I have used an external mouse as well and everything seems to be working fine then. Could it be hardware, maybe some water got in and I didnt realize. I did slam the lid pretty hard and then this issue came about after but I'm not sure."
