How do I get Bluetooth functionality on my old Aspire V3-771 laptop?

Hi! How can I get my Bluetooth icon to show in my taskbar on my old Acer Aspire V3-771, running Window 7 Pro? When I searched on my laptop [Start>All Programs>Tools], it listed Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth Suite, whose link seems to be located in C:\Windows\System32\bthprops. But, My Control Panel says that I have a 64-bit System type. Is that because I upgraded from Window 7 to Windows 7 Pro when I first got the laptop?

The laptop is still working well, even though old, & I would like the Bluetooth to function. I cannot find any proof of Bluetooth drivers or radios anywhere within Device Manager, & I do not have a BT-logo sticker on the bottom of my laptop. What do I need to do to easily have Bluetooth functionality on this old laptop?

Thank you.

Go to this unofficial Qualcomm Atheros for all the old drivers site for your Aspire V3-771 laptop, as they have Win-7 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers for the Qualcomm Atheros Wi-Fi/BT cards that your Aspire V3-771 laptop requires. First make sure that you look either in Device Manager or open the back of the laptop up and have a look at the exact Wi-Fi/BT card Qualcomm Atheros model csrd that you have, as that is important so then you can get the correct drivers from this site. As once you have the Qualcomm Atheros card number, have a look at this site under "Wireless drivers" and "Bluetooth" as that is where all the drivers are. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Below is the Wi-Fi.BT cards for your V3-771 laptop from its Acer service guide, so if you have the Atheros WB222 card look at the above site for the BT Win-7 driver and also, you should update the Wi-Fi driver, as this site has the latest Win-7 drivers for both.
