Hello everyone,

I have an Acer Predator PT715-51 with the following settings:

Intel Core i7-7700HQ 3.8GHz
32GB RAM 2666MHz (Please note the correct frequency)
500GB SSD RAID
NVIDIA GTX 1080 Max-Q
G-Sync 120Hz

Despite being considered 'outdated', this laptop has a decent configuration that should support most modern games, at least on minimum to medium settings. However, when attempting to run more demanding games like Black Desert Online, New World, DayZ or Warzone, I encounter constant errors. These games typically work for 1-2 minutes before crashing abruptly without any error message, when don't crash the PC always fail with a blue screen. It's worth noting that less demanding games such as League of Legends, Overwatch 2, and Tibia run without any issues.

Initially, I suspected the games themselves and attempted various repairs and adjustments without success. It's puzzling because during the brief playable moments, the games maintain a stable FPS (usually 60-80 FPS). Interestingly, if I remain in the game menu without starting actual gameplay, the games never crash.

Moreover, whenever I start these more demanding games, if they don't crash, the PC ALWAYS gives a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with one of the following errors:

The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c000001d, 0xffffb31cfd317d86, 0xffff9c0c9272f2c0, 0x0000000000000000)

The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x00000000000084b8, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff8012b310909).

Research suggests these errors are memory-related, but I fail to see a direct link between these errors and the sudden game closures.

I've noticed that the Intel i7-7700HQ processor officially supports DDR4 2400MHz RAM, but CPU-Z and Task Manager report my RAM running at 2666MHz. I'm unsure if this discrepancy could be causing these issues, as I understand that the motherboard typically dictates RAM compatibility, not solely the processor.

I would like to access the advanced BIOS settings to manually lower the RAM frequency for testing purposes, but the advanced BIOS options are not enabled by default on this BIOS version. I'm not sure if this will resolve the issue, but I'm open to suggestions.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any ideas on what else I could try? I've already attempted factory resets using ALT+F10 multiple times and performed various Windows repair actions like sfc scannow, none of which have resolved the issue. Any light is really appreciated!!!!
