I tried to open up my Nitro N50-600 and perform an upgrade on my storage.

I bought a Kingston SSD of 1TB to put in a NVME Slot (I removed the Intel Optane to perform the upgrade)

After reassembling, my PC won't boot, no screen and it shut down, if I attempt to restart the PC, it does long beep that won't stop until i cut power.

In bios change the Advanced > Onboard SATA Mode (RST with Optane) to AHCI and see if the Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology > Non-Raid Physical Disks is showing the Kingston 1TB M.2 SSD disk there. so try these settings and see if the M.2 SSD is recognized without any errors.

Also, make sure that the M.2 SSD drive in this desktop is installed with a thermal pad underneath the M.2 drive like in the captions below for proper installation, as that could cause the non-boot and errors too and can have cooling and operation problems. Good luck

M.2 SSD drives for this desktop listed by Acer:

Use this screw to secure the M.2 SSD drive

M.2 SSD drive installation and the thermal pad needed
