Hi, is it possible for me to connect my Swift laptop to this docking station? I used the usb-c but it doesn't seem to work. I want to use the docking station to connect 2 monitors to the laptop so I have 2 screens for work. Thank you!

Is that a 40B70090US model? The specs on it don't give quite enough information to see if everything will work. Your USB-C port is 3.1 gen 1 and it doesn't look like it supports DP Alt Mode. If the dock requires DP Alt Mode to do video, then the video on the dock wouldn't work. If the dock generates it's own video then you only need the proper drivers to do video with it. The rest of the ports should work, except USB-C charging which isn't supported with your model.

Thanks for the info. Yes it is the 40B70090US. I am fine with not having USB-C charging for the laptop; I just want to be able to use the docket.

Try to see if the dock requires DP Alt Mode, otherwise it should be fine.

unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work. Thank you for the insight though. If you have any ideas on how to make it work in an inexpensive way (new dock, adapter etc) I’m all ears. Thanks

Here is a link to the support site for the dock. Check to see if you have the latest firmware and drivers for it. I see they released different firmware to support Windows 11…
