Hello from New York City.

How to re-install Windows 10?

Does the Acer Aspire 5 Laptop have a built-in Windows 10 recovery partition?

Cannot find the recovery partition. Please advise.

Any clues appreciated. Thank you.

If "Reset This PC" does not work and you tried pressing Alt+F10 right after you see the Acer logo when you reboot and get the blue Troubleshoot menu, the Recovery volume is either damaged or deleted and you need to Clean install Windows10:

    Thank you for quick reply.

Pressing  Alt+F10 right after the Acer logo appears does nothing, the laptop goes straight to the standard Windows 10 login screen.

What is the download URL for Windows 10x64?

How can it be confirmed whether this laptop has a valid product key embedded in its UEFI firmware chip?

If this is an OEM PC that has a valid product key embedded in its UEFI firmware chip, then you will not be prompted to enter a product key. Windows 10 will automatically use the embedded product key if its valid for the edition being installed.

    Thank you.
