Will this technology of a screen that is mounted on an arm that can adjust distance, angle and even rotate 180 degree ever be available again. Everyone who see my laptop loves this feature.

The technology you're describing, with a screen mounted on an independent adjustable arm that allows for flexible adjustment of distance, angle, and rotation, was quite innovative for its time and indeed very appealing for its flexibility and usability.

While laptops with such a unique design haven't been widely replicated in recent years, there are a few modern equivalents and similar concepts that have emerged in different forms:

    1. Convertible Laptops: Many modern laptops feature 2-in-1 designs where the screen can rotate or detach, allowing for different modes like tablet mode or tent mode. These don't exactly replicate the adjustable arm design but offer flexibility in usage.
    2. External Monitor Arms: For desktop setups, there are numerous adjustable monitor arms available that allow for height, angle, and rotation adjustments. These are widely used in offices and home workspaces.
    3. Specialized Devices: Some companies and manufacturers may still produce specialized devices or laptops with unique form factors that include adjustable screens. These might be niche products catering to specific professional or ergonomic needs.
    4. Custom Solutions: In some cases, users or manufacturers may create custom setups where laptops are mounted on adjustable arms or stands, similar to your Aspire R7.

While the exact form of the Aspire R7 may not become mainstream again due to changing design trends and priorities, the concept of adjustable screens remains relevant. As technology evolves, new designs and innovations may emerge that incorporate similar flexibility and usability features. If this feature was well-loved by users, there's always a chance that manufacturers could revisit it in some form, especially if there's demand or if it fits specific use cases well.

It's difficult to predict with certainty whether the exact technology of a laptop screen mounted on an adjustable arm, like the Aspire R7, will make a comeback in the future.
