Why does my acer aspire a314-22 shutting off/malfunctioning after not being used for awhile

I don't use my aspire 3 laptop that much, so I'm confused about it shutting off randomly whenever I type in the laptop's keyboard. back then, I had a similar problem. However, it does not shut down but rather the sign "["keeps typing itself (like someone hard-pressed it). I resolved that problem by downloading a system offered here on this site. Now, my main concern is whether laptops tend to be in a broken state when not often used? I find the pattern of it malfunctioning whenever I don't use it as much to be interesting. To add that it is placed comfortably and securely on my desk. Or my laptop is just broken and I need it to be fixed? Advice and help are appreciated, thank you.

- If you are online Windows may be trying to update, you can find out what the update status by clicking on "Check for updates".
- You may have a power issue, depleted battery, run a battery report with this command: powercfg /batteryreport
- A hardware problem (RAM-HDD) could do that or a bad driver, boot to Safe Mode and see if the system remains stable. If the same in Safe Mode you should bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country for checking. To boot in Safe Mode, in Windows press Shift + Restart (click on Start-Power-Restart icon on the taskbar).
