I bought a Nitro N50-610 a couple years ago and am looking to upgrade the GPU.

I originally bought it with 16G RAM, 10400F and 1660 Super.
Can I upgrade the 1660 super with a 4060?

The RTX4060 gpu operates efficiently with a recommended PSU of 550W and utilizes a single 8-pin PCIe connector for power, also allowing for a power limit adjustment of up to +20%, if you have the N50-610 with the 500W PSU you could try to see if the RTX4060 works, but I can't guarantee that it will. so if you do take the risk, its your responsibility. as maybe some community members have the RTX4060 working with the N50-610 500W oem PSU?

The N50-610 comes oem with a 300W which is not suitable for the RTX gpu's but its 500W proprietary Acer PSU is fitted to the N50-610 with an RTX2060 gpu that also has a PCIe connector. You cannot upgrade the N50-610 PSU as its an Acer proprietary type PSU and its connection pins are different to the standard 24pin PSU plug that are available on the market today. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Acer Nitro N50-610 fitted gpu's for both 300W and 500W PSUs
