My Acer Swift X won’t turn on

I have an Acer Swift X from late 2022, and it’s mostly worked completely fine for the entire duration. Today however I had been using it fine and put it into sleep mode and left. An hour later I went to use it but when I opened it it didn’t wake up so I thought no problem I’ll just press the power button. That didn’t work either so I decided to hold the power button to shut it down and then turn it on after. None of this worked at all, I’ve fully charged it since and have tried doing the battery thing with the little keyhole on the bottom of the laptop. When I press the on button the light on the side becomes blue for 3 seconds and then turns off again. Any solutions?

I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the system to factory Default under warranty.

Same thing happened to my acer swift x 14. It seems to be some issue with the lid switch/ hall sensor or a cable that leads from it to the motherboard. in my case (the laptop always thinks its shut even when its not). I managed to get mine to boot sometimes by applying pressure to the bottom of the case on the center most screw hole then pressing the power button. Disconnecting battery or clearing the bios did not work. I am now sending the laptop to acer under warranty to be repaired.

There are a bunch of different SFX14 models, both Intel and AMD based. Without knowing which you have we can't even try to be specific as to steps for diagnosis…
