Hello! Laptop Emachines E732G. I decided to make it a home server so that it wouldn’t sit idle. I want to buy an Intel D3-S4610 server SSD for it. While searching for this ssd I accidentally came across information that this SSD is not suitable for laptops, since laptops do not have a 12V line, but only 5V. Unfortunately, I couldn't find more information about this. Went around 5-6 forums, somewhere they say it will work, and somewhere they say it won’t work. Perhaps the Acer forum is my last “stronghold”. Can you please tell me if this SSD will work in this laptop? Will he have enough laptop power?

I was told that the 5V line receives about 7-10W of power to the SATA ports. Considering that this laptop has one SATA port and one DVD-ROM (and this server SSD consumes about 3.5 Watt in active mode), then the ssd should work. Is it so? I beg you, help me
