Can i use the PSU from Orion Predator 3000 po3-640 with a new mainboard?

Hello. in the curren Predator is the po3-640 mainboard a rtx 3070 and 2 8gb ram with a psu of 500. im about to get a new pc case , a new mainboard and new ram.

so the thing is im worried about the PSU. do i need to get a new psu for the new mainboard or can i use the original one for now?

    As you know, most motherboards use long 24-pin connector to deliver power to the motherboard.

    At least some newer Acer PO3 models use short 6-pin connector (ATX12VO).

    When I google your current Acer mobo and look at the pictures, your current mobo uses 6-pin connector.

    Before ordering anything double check the cabling and look inside of your case. The difference is easy to spot.

    You'll need a new PSU.
