Acer Veriton X4660G not turning on

I’m very new to pc and I got an acer veriton but it’s not turning on. I’ve got it connected to power (when I plug it in there’s a symbol with 3 squares and a line through them that has a faded blinking light) and I also have an hdmi cord to a monitor yet it still won’t show up. It could be very basic but I’m not tech savvy in the slightest so I’m not sure what to do. Help would be appreciated, cheers

Download and read the Acer provided manual of your Acer Veriton X4660G User Manual 2018/06/15 version 1.0 as all the errors and proper instructions and connection guides are in this manual.

Have a look at the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS at the end of the PDF manual as they have the answers there to quetion slike:

    1. I turned on the power, but the computer does not start or boot up.
    2. Nothing appears on the screen.
    3. etc etc

If you can't get the desktop turned on then you have a functioning error that needs to looked at by a computer repair technician. Good luck.

The Veriton X4660G models usually have a graphics card installed, which disables the onboard graphics. Look at this image:

If you have your video cable plugged into #2 or #3 and have a card installed (as shown under the line for #11), the video won't work. Move it to the card and try again.
