Hi everyone, I have recently bought a Helios Neo 16 I9-14900hx device and its CPU gets really hot in non-gaming and gaming use(85-100 degrees Celsius.) Now I understand that this might be normal temp for an I9-14900HX (is it though?) but, do you have any suggestions for better cooling of the laptop other than manually increasing fan speed?

For extra cooling and heat dissipation from your PH16-72 laptop, I suggest that you buy an efficient laptop tablet cooler that will inject extra cold air into the laptop and extract heat also from the laptop like the cooler below, try the Thermaltake Massive 20 RGB cooler as this cooler seems to have a big fan and is one of the best on the market, as it will cool your laptop. That is what I've done with my Nitro 5 laptop, and it works great. Good luck.

    Check this-
    1) Fps cap

Capping fps to lower value like 60, 100, 120, 140, etc can greatly lower cpu temperature and keep cool
(Cap youyour fps through Nvidia software or use RTSS)

    2) Prop the laptop up with books around the sides to reduce heat

Grab stack of 2-4 books that are equally thick. Slide the spine of a book 2–3 inches (5.1–7.6 cm) under the right side of the laptop. Do the same on the left side of the laptop.

[You can also Buy good cooling pad in which stands are inbuilt, its better than books]

    3) You can follow this below guide completely to reduce Cpu load and increase performance which will reduce heat -
