How to replace the HDD to Motherboard Connector Cable

I was trying to clean my fans to I opened up the back of my laptop following the YouTube video, but acer has this laptop booby trapped so if you open the backside without disconnecting the HDD first (which wasn’t said to do in any video) the cable rips off the connector piece.

Anyways, I ordered the replacement part but can’t find a YouTube video on how to replace the whole cable. As in so when I need to take out the old one, where to go through and take it out and how to place the new one in to each slot to make sure it’s properly connected to the mother board.

I attached a picture of the cable I’m talking about. If anyone knows of a video that has this cable replacing being done it, please link it to me. It would help me a lot.

thanks!

What is the exact Acer Nitro 5 model laptop you have or Acer laptop model you have? As none of these laptops 2.5" HDD cable and plug has anything to do with either a trap door for the HDD or the back cover of the laptops to get to the HDD and for this plug to be unplugged when you take the covers off. There is no way that the SATA cable/plug above is attached to either the HDD Door or back cover of any of these laptops.

This is the HDD door for some earlier Nitro laptops like pre and the AN515-52 and 53

From the Nitro AN515-54 you need to take the back cove off completely to get to the 2.5" HDD and the SATA plug/cable
