Acer Swift Edge SFE16-42 gets too hot temperature when charging

I have an Acer Swift Edge SFE16-42, but after the last windows update, the upper left part of the laptop gets too hot to touch when charging. Temps from Acer sense shows that it jumps up from 40 - 80 degrees. Tried repairing update in recovery but same result.

Setting in Sense is Normal or Silent, same result when charging.

Fast charging a depleted battery generates a lot of heat, to avoid that, keep your power adapter plugged in 24/7 and the battery 100% charged and the laptop will stay cool. Changing the Power Mode in Power & Battery settings to Best Power Efficiency will also reduce the laptop temperature.

Btw, is it okay to keep the battery at 80% instead of 100% in order to prolong its life?

Yes, Charging typically causes the battery to heat up. Depending on how the battery and CPU are located in relation to each other, charging might well contribute to over-heating the CPU. As long as CPU temps stay below about 90C, it should be fine. However, you can try to promote better airflow and reduce peak temp up to about 5C by raising the laptop about an inch above a hard surface taking care not to block the air intake and exhaust vents.
Try some of these steps, it should help:-

Don't put your laptop on soft surfaces like a blanket or couch.
Try buying canned air and use that to blow out any dust from your fans.
Make sure all fans in your laptop are still working.
Buy a laptop cooling pad.

Keeping it at 80% won't really give you any improvement in battery life, the newer charge circuits are smart enough to not force an overcharge

So i have to plug my brand new laptop, 24/7 just to use it normally? Also, laptops are designed to be charged and not get to 80 degrees just because its charging. All other laptop brands don't do this.
