Nitro 5 battery stuck at 0% and wont turn on without charger. I changed the battery with a new one (same specifications, OEM) and i was able to turn the laptop on for a bit without pluggin in, when i tried plug the charger, it says its charging (orange led lit up) but battery level does not increase.
I tried resetting the battery. removed the battery and CMOS, held the button for about 2-3 minutes. Put the battery back in, as expected cant power it on, plugged it with the charger now it turns on but the problem persist.
I tried changing the all power options to high performance. Orange LED started blinking. From what i've read in other forums, these indicates that the laptop is not getting enough power. I bought a new ac adapter (same specifications) but the problem persist.
I uninstalled the drivers for both adapter and battery and restarted. Problem persist.
Updated the BIOS to most recent and yet problem still persist.
I tried other power sockets around the house as well but nothing's changed.
Any advice on this problem?
