The Nitro AN515-58 has 2x M.2 SSD drive slots that run at speeds of the Gen 4 x4 standard and they both support eGPU setups. The M.2 eGPU setup is a full x4 3.0 bandwidth - while TB3 or TBT4 has 25%-64% less H2D/write bandwidth than M.2, so an M.2 eGPU setup is allot quicker but its disadvantage is that it requires underside eGPU cabling to the internal M.2 port and requires DIY tweaking/testing to confirm compatibility, so be aware of all this.

While most modern off the shelp retail eGPU enclosures plugin via Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports; some work via the Thunderbolt 2 interface. An eGPU setup for the Nitro 5 AN515-58 laptop should be connected via the Nitro AN515-58 front USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port which has the following specs not through the M.2 SSD internal slot.
