Acer Swift X 14 Headphones not working

Hello, i have just bought Acer Swift X 14 and i wanted to plug in my apple earbuds. However the laptop is not detecting them at all. Also both have 3.5 mm jack but the last section of the earbuds is still out of the computer (not fully pluged in it looks like).

They need to be fully seated to work. 3.5mm jacks are pretty standard, so standard that there are actually two types. :) They are both the same length though, so they should both fully seat.
