I have an Aspire V3-572P laptop, which has 6GB memory. Can I add extra memory?

I bought NVTEK 8GB DDR4 memory, keeping in mind that, according to the manual, my laptop can be expanded to 16GB. That would give it 14GB. Will that be compatible?

The best ram combination for the Aspire V3-572G laptop is to fit 2x 8GB DDR3-16000MHz type ram and don't mix 2GB + 4GB like your laptop is working with now. The V3-572G is a laptop that can have a max total of 16GB ram and it can function with as high a speed ram of either DDR3-1600Mhz, but it also functions with 2x 8GB DDR3-1866Mhz (like my V3-571G is functioning with 2x 4GB DDR3-1866MHz that ram perfectly now) and also make sure that the laptops boot drive is a SATA 3 SSD 2.5" drive which will make this laptop a very functionable laptop to operate Win-10 or Win-10 Pro, make sure that you are running the last bios version also. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
