Acer Nitro 17 black screen requiring full restart. I have had an issue with the display freezing

Since day 1 of having this laptop, I have had an issue with the display freezing, going black, and requiring a full reboot to turn back on. I have updated all drivers, reinstalled software through AMD and NVIDIA, updated the laptop, and sent crash reports to AMD after the hangups. I also performed a factory reset and still nothing. I have no issues while gaming when switching to NVIDIA GPU only, so I'm thinking the issue is with the integrated graphics. It occurs every day as long as I am not actively gaming.

This could be the actual 17" laptop screen or the eDP cable/plug issue at the mainboard or screen that is damaged. Send your Nitro 17 to Acer Tech Support and insist that they change the mainboard of your Nitro 17 as these mainboards on this laptop are hugely expensive and if you allow for the Acer Warranty to expire then you will be up for big costs.
