Hello everyone,

I'm new to the Acer community and just received my first Acer product today. I've been trying to troubleshoot an issue with gaming performance. Specifically, I've tested two games, Grand Theft Auto 5 and another game (sorry, I can't recall the name right now due to spending most of the day on this issue). The problem I'm facing is a significant FPS drop right from the start, even before reaching the main menu.

I've attempted several fixes, such as updating my GPU drivers, disabling the iGPU, and adjusting my Power Plan. Additionally, I noticed that my screen is stuck at 60Hz, although my Acer monitor supports 144Hz. Another peculiar issue is that my SSD is partitioned into three drives (C, D, E) by default, and I haven't made any changes to this setup.

I purchased this laptop new from a local shop, and their technical team attempted to assist me via remote access without success. They suggested that I may have caused the issue by partitioning my SSD (which I haven't done) or by downloading programs like Steam, Epic Games. They recommended formatting the SSD using a flash drive, but I'm hesitant about this step.

At this point, I'm considering returning the laptop to the shop. However, I wanted to reach out here first to see if anyone has encountered similar issues and has suggestions on how to resolve them. Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
