Laptop Only Works with Power Adapter – Battery Issues on Acer (Nitro AN515-57)

I’ve recently encountered a persistent issue with my Acer laptop’s(Nitro AN515-57) battery. The laptop only powers on when the power adapter is connected, and it won't turn on or stay on using just the battery. Additionally, the laptop's battery light is continuously blinking orange. Here’s a summary of what I’ve tried so far to resolve the issue:

Battery Driver Reinstallation: I uninstalled and reinstalled the battery driver by removing the device from Device Manager and restarting the PC.
Different Power Adapter: I used a friend’s power adapter (same model laptop) to check if the issue was with my adapter.
Battery Replacement: I replaced the battery with a new one, but the problem persists.

Despite these attempts, my laptop still doesn't work on battery power alone, and the battery light keeps blinking orange continuously.

Could anyone offer any insights or suggestions on what might be causing this issue or how to fix it?

This appears to be hardwire related, hopefully just the DC port. You have a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery, try a 100-Watt laptop USB-Charger that has a thick fixed USB-C cord, if that works OK you need to replace the DC port or continue working with the USB-C charger.

Does the laptop show the battery percentage?
Try to do a power cycle by disconnecting both power adapter, battery, and the CMOS battery. Hold the power button for 15 seconds and connect everything back in.

Unfortunately, my laptop does not show the battery percentage accurately, it always displays 100%. Additionally, I tried the power cycle procedure you recommended (disconnecting the power adapter, battery, and CMOS battery, holding the power button for 15 seconds, and then reconnecting everything), but it did not resolve the issue.

At the initial stage of this issue, I was able to use the laptop with the battery, but it wasn't charging. Thinking it was a battery issue, I replaced the battery, but the problem persisted. I then tried a new charger, but that didn't help either. The laptop still doesn't charge or run on battery power alone.
