I’ve recently encountered a persistent issue with my Acer laptop’s(Nitro AN515-57) battery. The laptop only powers on when the power adapter is connected, and it won't turn on or stay on using just the battery. Additionally, the laptop's battery light is continuously blinking orange. Here’s a summary of what I’ve tried so far to resolve the issue:
- Battery Driver Reinstallation: I uninstalled and reinstalled the battery driver by removing the device from Device Manager and restarting the PC.
- Different Power Adapter: I used a friend’s power adapter (same model laptop) to check if the issue was with my adapter.
- Battery Replacement: I replaced the battery with a new one, but the problem persists.
Despite these attempts, my laptop still doesn't work on battery power alone, and the battery light keeps blinking orange continuously.
Could anyone offer any insights or suggestions on what might be causing this issue or how to fix it?
