laptop not turning on aspire a315-58-57s3. The light indicatore turns on and turns off in 3 seconds

whenever i turn my laptop on, the blue light indicator turns on showing that the laptop is on, then the light turns off ~3 seconds later and the laptop turns off again.

    There is a small pinhole at the back of the laptop with a battery sign, stick a pin in that hole and press gently till you feel it click, keep the pin pressed down for a few seconds, that will reset the battery,

    I assume the warranty already expired so you can open up the back of the laptop, if you don't want to do that bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the system to factory default for a small service fee. If you want to reset the CMOS yourself do this: Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module under the SSD (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts (terminals) inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Unseat the RAM module and firmly secure it back in the slot. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

    As I wrote, with an opened paperclip or a metal wire you briefly connect the bottom contact inside the opened CMOS housing (that connects with the - of the battery) with the side terminal (that connects with + of the coin battery). Just for a few seconds, that will reset the CMOS and BIOS.

    Hey joshai, try to first do a Hard Reset of the A315-58 laptop by taking the back cover off, take main battery out and disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery like below and shorts its +&- mainboard plug pins to clean the CMOS then take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything then reboot the laptop as this should reset the laptop EC chip completely and fix any power or boot problems if its related to the laptop.

    If the above doesn’t fix your problem then you have a faulty main power or charging rail fault(s) as its not the battery, as a two years old battery in your laptop should not be drained and not working unless its not n]=being charged, so you need to take you laptop to a technician to fix these problems for you as you will never ever be able to fix anything with a laptop reset or software updates.
