My device's screen isn't turning on, although the keyboard and fan are working. I took it to an authorized service center, and they discovered corrosion on the RAM and board. The technician suggested that this might be a factory defect. However, Acer has voided my warranty because of this issue.

What should I do next? I never opened the device myself; it was only opened by a store manager for a RAM upgrade and by the technician who diagnosed the problem.
