Hey Acer-Community,

I have an Acer Swift 3 from 2019 and it's not booting anymore.

It worked perfectly fine until the screen got a red distortion while using it and then shut down.

When I try to turn it on now, the fan starts spinning for 1-2 seconds and the keyboard lights up, then the fan stops and the light turns off for 1-2 seconds. Then the process repeats itself over and over again, until I disconnect the battery.

I have already done a hard reset, changed the CMOS battery, disconnected battery, keyboard, monitor, fan and ram, with no success.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Thank you all in advance.

Most probably a hardware problem (possibly the RAM module), try to replace the DDR4 RAM module with a spare 4GB or 8GB one. If you still cannot boot, I recommend bringing the laptop to an Acer accredited PC repair shop for checking.

We can't guess at potential other solutions without knowing which laptop model you have. There have been a lot of Swift 3 models and just saying 2019 doesn't even tell us if it's Intel or AMD based... Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SF3xx-xxx-xxxx.
