I have had this laptop for a few years and i really like using it. i want to continue using it further but the issue is that as games and software develop I would need stronger motherboards,RAM, GPU, CPU. a desktop tower allows me to add these changes while a laptop cannot. so I was wondering how can I turn my laptop into a monitor/keyboard so that the laptop is using the towers motherboard,RAM,GPU,CPU instead of its internal ones?

note: If acer makes gaming towers i would like to know what the latest ones are and if they can combine with my acer nitro 5.

You can't. The motherboard is in the laptop itself, so severing the keyboard from the laptop would render it useless. Try to get a Dell computer or a monitor from other brands. Acer doesn't sell computers though.

what do you mean "severing the keyboard from the laptop"? couldn't i use some kind of wire that connects laptop to tower? so tower thinks laptop is both the keyboard and the monitor?
