When an update fails to install (Windows or BIOS) it may retry several times resulting in BSODS, Check in Update History if that particular update installed successfully, if not run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. After each BSOD check the critical errors logged at the time of the BSOD in Event Viewer (Local) and also in Reliability History-Problem Reports. You may see a reference to Video issues like display-driver-igfx-stopped-responding or Display - 4101 Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and anything related to Nvidia. In that case boot to Safe Mode and see if BSODs are not happening, then uninstall the display drivers with DDU in Safe Mode and just reboot. Other causes for BSODs are overheating and insufficient RAM for the application you are trying to run. You can also restore the system to an earlier date before the update if Windows System Protection is turned on and the system was backed up before the update: Type restore in the Search bar and click on "Create a restore point", at the top left you will see "System Restore", click on that and select a date before the update was installed.
